Up-close and Personal

Assalamualaikum

Let's not talk about today much. Instead let's talk about last night. Ehe.

Saya berbuka puasa di Bilik Malaysia KU. Round 2 ialah ice creams kat Baskin Robbins with two of my most favorite people in the world : Moshitta and Mekdi. Sebab semester dah start, most talked topics are of course pasal school. Especially since all of us are graduating after this semester. Mekdi briefed me a bit on coffee and the differences between coffees from the vending machine and coffees from coffee house. Bila saya kata saya tak tahu beza, beliau kata no wonder since saya cuma minum lattes and macchiatos and both with caramel. The aroma of the coffee has long gone with the cream, milk and sugar. Beliau berkata nak tahu taste of coffee yang sebenar, mesti minum americanos or iced coffees and espressos.

Sitting across the table, watching Mekdi talk, I wonder how come there exist a person so lovable like her. Despite having the born-with-it talent of taking great photographs, being well-educated in general knowledge, universal culture, gadgets and technology, and having fabulous sense of her own styles, Mekdi macam sangat cool and kind to everybody that I can't think of anybody that could ever hate her. And when I think more about it, saya rasa hidup saya macam sangat penuh dengan those kind of people. Take my dear housemate, Zatul, for example. She's extremely pretty, she's smart, she's kind, she's very rajin with the house chores, she cooks well, she's good at socializing even with older people, she's alim etc. I have to say it's hard not to like her. And yeah, there's a whole bunch of other examples it's hard to give out every names.

Alhamdulillah, although I have lots of flaws, Allah kurniakan pada saya teman-teman yang hebat untuk menemani saya dalam perjalanan dunia :)
