Conversation 1.
English Reading and Discussion Class, discussing Hollywood movies and stock response.

Lecturer : Always in a romantic movie there is the guy riding a bicycle down some slope and a girl carrying quite heavy books or papers. And then what happened?
Me : They crashed into each other?
Lecturer : Yeah right. They crashed just lightly into each other and usually the paper the girl carrying fell and the guys helped him pick it up. And in this kind of movie, what is usually the girl's major?
Me : Err..
Lecturer : Definitely NOT Mechanical Engineering.
Me : Slam my face on the desk.

Clearly a heroine majoring in Mechanical Engineering isn't anybody's idea of a romantic movie.

Yongsan, buying my PSP

Diyana : Farini, ko memang pengumpul gadget kan?
Me : Biasa la. Aku kan bdak Kigyae (Mechanical). Kne la beli banyak sikit gadget, baru nampak Kigyae (Mechanical)

Um.. actually electronics gadgets are more symbolized the electric and electronics student. But then tak kan saya nak bli tukul besi plak kn? Er ok. Maybe I'll buy a robot arm instead.

Moshitta : Lag kot wak.
Me : Gasp.

Tata physcis. I'll miss having to frustrate over you dearly =)

First semester is over and I cannot say I'm not satisfied with my result coz I greatly am. Kelas musim panas has been extremely boring lately. American Popular Culture is fun when there are lots of discussion but since everybody was reluctant to speak, it sometimes become dead. I personally thought the same of every classes I take. Students were just reluctant to answer the professors questions. Maybe at DY it's because they don't know the answer but I expected KU students to be a bit more courageous to try answering according to their knowledge.

Erm, saya tak boleh bercakap tentang kelas Bahasa Inggeris di Kolej saya dalam bahasa Inggeris kerana kalau professor saya found this, habislah saya. Tapi kelas itu siryes bosan gila. Semacam dah berzaman saya tak ada cikgu perempuan. Except cikgu bahasa Jepun di DY. And even kalau cikgu bahasa Jepun itu bosan pun, it's a new language and I was never bored to learn it. Tapi cikgu ini super bosan. Dia mengambil masa sejam lebih membaca dan membincangkan kerja rumah dalam buku teks sahaja. Dia suruh orang baca dan dia akan mengexplain satu persatu perenggan tersebut. Dan tidak meminta kami bercakap langsung sebaliknya menyuruh kami mendengar dia drools on and on pasal ini dan itu. Maka ngantuk gile. Tips Moshitta : Sebelum kelas, jangan bukak langsung buku teks. Sebab time kelas akan menghadap buku tu selama 2 jam. Cikgu perempuan memang selalunya bosan kah? Saya tak mahu jadi cikgu la. Nanti saya membosankan para pelajar. Er cop. Ada seorang cikgu perempuan tak bosan. Cik Sham..... Urghh~ Miss her~~
